M300 - Application software load procedure.

The load procedure requires a PC with a standard MIDI Interface.

Your existing user presets should not be affected by the update, but we suggest that you make a safety backup as described in the user manual.

IMPORTANT: Before starting the load procedure, please quit any MIDI related application on your PC.

1. Connect the PC MIDI-Out to the M300 MIDI-In socket.
2. Press and hold the "PRESET" and arrow-up keys during power up to enter the software update mode.

3. The M300 gain reduction meter will start a running light.
    

4. Click the "UPDATE" button in the SoftUpdater window. You should now see the M300 Tap LED turning on.
5. IMPORTANT: After the upload has finished, you MUST wait (up to 1 minute) until the M300 automatically reboots.
6. You have now successfully uploaded the new application software to your M300.

TROUBLE SHOOTING:

• After otherwise successful load, the M300 does not reboot: Turn the power off and retry load procedure.
• Tap LED does not turn on after clicking the "UPDATE" button in the SoftUpdater window: Turn the power off and retry load procedure.

In case of persistent errors, disconnect the power cable to the M300 for 10 seconds, then connect it again and retry the load procedure.
