“We’ve wrecked our D-Two in Serbia and Chuck Billy refuses to sing through any other delay device” a frustrated Matt West called us on the phone. Matt is the FOH engineer of San Francisco thrash metal legends, Testament, and the scene was downtown Hamburg venue Markthalle in Germany where the band had just arrived for tonight’s gig. Testament are touring Europe with their Golden Gods Award-winning album “The Formation of Damnation” and after a couple of phone calls we managed to get Chuck a replacement unit from a local shop.
