The CPU board is defective if the RemoteCPU doesn't give a small "beep" two seconds after power-on (BIOS loaded OK).
If it gives the "beep" but doesn't work afterwards it could be due to a bad FLASH card (the FLASH card is the hard drive).

Please try to a computer monitor to the RemoteCPU VGA output.
If you got a PS2 Y-split cable (keyboard/mouse) you can, hopefully, operate it with the mouse.

If the RemoteCPU VGAout is OK, the problem could be due to:
- broken cable for the TC Icon
- a broken cable from the VGAout to the multipin in the RemoteCPU
- or the TC Icon itself.

Please disconnect the multicable to the Icon to make sure that it is not a defective/shorted cable that blocks the VGA output, but otherwise your computer monitor should show the same as the Icon screen.

Download test all file.

Recalibrate the icon.

1. Connect a computer keyboard to the input on the TC icon remote controller.

2. Press the CONTROL + T key simultaneously when the unit is in the boot mode.

3. Now follow the description on the screen.

Maby the fader needs to be replaced if its total damage.

The reason for this error could be a defect flash inside the ICON display unit(not the remote box). Please replace the defect flash chip.

This error is probably because of a defect Flash card inside the REMOTE CPU its located under the CPU PCB.

This can happen if a CPU card has been replaced in the system and the reason for this could be because there is a wrong serial number installed to the CPU card from factory. To make it match with your system then you need to reset the print.

1. Resistor 104 needs to be removed from the CPU card.
2. Install the card to a mainframe 5000 (necessary to have M5000 Front/frame).
3. Then hold down the Program and utility buttons while powering up the machine.
4. In the system menu scroll to EPROM r/w press DO and press DO again.
5. Connect a ICON control panel to your M5000 mainframe instead of the M5000 front.
6. Now the CPU print doesn't have a serial number it has been erased. After boot up there will be displayed "system error code" please write this code down and send it to [email protected] and ask for the repair code for your unit.
7. Connect the Icon to the M5000 frame.
8. Boot up the M5000 and go to System » License » Frame in the ICON control panel.
9. From there you will be able to Enter License Code in this box you should enter the repair code received from our technical service department. Press enter and the unit has restored the serial number.
10. Please remember to solder the removed resistor back on the CPU card. (only if the card is used in System6000 and M5000X).

We have implemented a "short-cut" to the touch screen calibration page ( software version 3.20 or newer ):

- Power the RemoteCPU off

- Attach a PS-2 keyboard

- Power on

- When the application software is running: Press Ctrl + T in order to go to the touch calibration screen.
