The attached file should be copied to a disk and inserted in the system 6K and then it should be powered on. The system will now erase all user settings, you have to wait for the LED to light green and the disk drive stops running. Then you should try to load the new application sw again.

Download reset file.

Please send the error code + serial number to [email protected] for optaining the restore code.

When you have got the restore code from the TC-service center please insert the code as shown in the example below.

It is seen that a fault in software might lock the communication between Frame and Remote CPU. Ethernet connection is not working.

Connect a M5000 front to see if the card is reset and to follow the boot process. Remember to remove the R104 (and afterwards make a solder bridge or mount a 0ohm resistor).

New Ethernet software didn't solve the problem.
You even tried with a new Ethernet card - still no luck?

Try saving the files (frame_tstdisk) attached this answer to a floppy disc and let the S6000 load the disc and wait untill a few testrounds have been running.
Now - reastablish the frame application by loading new frame software.

Now the communication should be up and running again. If not, please call TC and order a new CPU board. There might be a broken connection inside the CPU board.

If you ever experience this please send an e-mail to [email protected] and write the S/N of the frame. We would like to record how many units have this problem.

Download test all file.

Please open the result file that the mainframe has saved on the DSP application floppy disk: rsxxxxxx.txt , where xxxxxx is the serial no. of the mainframe.

If the result file shows "Could not read control file" :

Please try to reinstall the mainframe boot software.
Please read the "How to re-install boot software in the mainframe?" section.

If the result file shows "Could not erase FLASH" :

Most like a defective DSP module, must be returned to TC-DK for repair.

Yes the ADA 24/96 converter print can work with your M5000 frame just be sure to have the card set to correct address.
