Self test menuEnter the self test menu. - Power on while pressing "RECALL+ROUTING"
- Loop the midi in/out with a midi cable.
- Choose "Front test" by pressing "TAB" and run through the test procedure.
- Power off and on.
Reset the unit: - Power on the unit while pressing "TAB" to enter the system menu.
- Choose "Reset system parameters" and wait until its done.
- Find the latest software and upload it (Midi speed set to 31250)
- Power off the unit.
Sound check!Connections: Connect analog in/out cables and SPDIF cables. - Connect switch box to Pedal IN.
- Choose in the Midi setup menu “Pedal In” to "Ultimate Switch Control".
Loop MIDI OUT to MIDI IN and MIDI THRU to MIDI IN on your test panel(we use finalizer96)
- Press the " I/O" , scroll to "Analog".
- Check if the input signal is equal left/right.
- Press the " I/O" , scroll to "Digital".
- Check if the input signal is equal left/right (input pot does not work when using SPDIF input, you can change the digital input in the setup menu instead).
- You can use a TC finalizer96 or some other possibility to test and change between the sample rates 44.1k and 48k. See in the display top left corner if the unit will lock to these sample rates.
- Pause the CD player.
- Turn the volume to max level its normal to hear hear a click sound at approximate 12 o'clock. Listen for crack, click sound or too high white noise.
- Enter the self test menu
- Enter the front test follow the procedure make sure all is working ok.
- Feed a signal through the unit and knock test it, listen for any sound changes, click or noise sounds.
- Power off and on a couple of times to ensure it starts up properly every time and check if the latest software is installed.
