Power on while pressing "DELAY" + BOOST". - Loop the midi in and midi out.
Follow the instructions as shown in the display. Power OFF and ON.
Power ON the unit, and watch for correct software during start-up. Hook up a guitar/clean signal to the drive input . Play the guitar, adjust the drive level and make sure the NovaSystem produces the correct effects. Hook up a guitar/clean signal to the line input . Again, make sure the NovaSystem makes the correct effects. Hit the "LEVELS" button and select input source using the "EDIT D" encoder, use the"EDIT C"encoder to adjust the analog mode to digital. Make sure the S/PDIF in is connected to a source (dig out of CD player) and the S/PDIF out is connected to a source (any device that will show digital input). Switch between the Sample Rates and watch the source connected to the S/PDIF out react correspondingly. Switch the input to digital and listen.
Finishing up: - Enter the self test menu.
- Enter the front test follow the procedure make sure all is working ok.
- Feed a signal through the unit and knock test it, listen for any sound changes, click or noise sounds.
- Power off and on a couple of times to ensure it starts up properly every time and check if the latest software is installed.
