Self test menu- To enter the Self test menu press and hold "BYPASS" button.
- Power on the unit and scroll to "RUN TEST PROGRAM".
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Resetting the unit: - Power up the unit while pressing and hold the "BYPASS" button.
- Scroll to reset system, please make sure to backup all presets!
- Restart the unit.
Connect Analog In/Out and S/PDIF In/Out. Connect the Optical DI and DO Connect MIDI OUT to MIDI IN and MIDI THRU to the Panel.
Check the Optic I/O: Enter the Reset Menu by Powering up the unit while pressing the PROGRAM button. Choose RUN TEST Program press "ENTER". Choose DIGITAL I/O press "ENTER". Press "EXIT" twice (Display shows: "Connect ADAT dig. out to ADAT dig. input"), press "ENTER", the result should state OK! Press "EXIT" and choose MIDI, press OK twice. Notice if the LED blinks in the panel. Choose ”Pedal Socket” and press OK twice, check if it functions correctly. Power off the unit from the front panel notice if the power led blinks if it blinks its normal.
Check Analog I/O and digital I/O: Turn on the unit. Set both volume buttons to min output. Choose LINE on both Channel 1 and 2. Choose Preset 3. Turn off the MUTE on Channel 2 Press "INVERT" on Channel 1, Mute Channel 2 Press "METER", until it shows output. Make sure the I/O meters show more output level then input. Press "SOFTCLIP" , check its function. Repeat from 14 for testing Channel 2 Choose digital input. Press "SETUP" and scroll the setup menu, put the INPUT to S/PDIF, Press "PROGRAMS". Un-MUTE Channel 1 and check if there is any input/output.
Check MIC INPUT: Connect a microphone to the MIC input. Choose MIC as input on Engine 1 and 2. Turn on the +48 V on channel 1 and MUTE 2. (Please be careful for feedback if checking without headsets!) Scratch the top of the microphone listen and change between the three pad-adjustiments on both engines. Listen and change between the three LOCUT settings(the sound vanishes between settings normal behavior) Repeat test point 27 but mute Channel 1 and active Channel 2.
Finish up: - Enter the self test menu.
- Press all buttons and make sure all are working correctly.
- Feed a signal through the unit and knock test it, listen for any sound changes, click or noise sounds.
- Power OFF the unit by pressing and holding the "ON/OFF" button(Notice if the POWER LED blinks when in OFF state, its normal)
- Power off and on a couple of times to ensure it starts up properly every time and check if the latest software is installed.
